The Nike Air Max BW 'Persian Violet' celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021. To celebrate, Nike brought back the OG colorway 'Persian Violet'. The model was released in 1991 and was the first model from the Air Max series with a larger Air Unit in the midsole. BW is short for 'Bigger Window', which refers to the Air Unit.
The 'Persian Violet' combines the colours black, white and purple. The upper is black and made of mesh. The collar and Swoosh are purple and the detail on the midsole is also purple. On the heel, the word 'Air Max' is printed in white.
