Experienced AV Specialist - Utrecht

What will you do?
As an Audio Visual Specialist, you’ll be responsible for all audiovisual and visual productions across our platforms. You translate ideas into powerful content and ensure that visuals, audio, and graphic elements all come together seamlessly. From filming sneaker reviews and podcasts with well-known figures in the sneaker world to designing visuals for social media – you make it happen.

Your tasks:

• Filming (studio) productions, interviews, events, podcasts, and reports
• Editing videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
• Designing visuals, thumbnails, banners, and social media posts (graphic design)
• Contributing to and developing visual concepts in collaboration with the content team
• Managing lighting, sound, and camera work during shoots
• Managing AV equipment and advising on new gear when needed
• Contributing to the visual style and brand identity of our brands
• Guiding and mentoring talented interns

What do you bring to the table?

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (Illustrator is a plus)
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of visual composition and storytelling
• Experience in creating content for various platforms
• Creative, proactive, and independent, while also being a true team player
• Affinity with sneakers, streetwear, and pop culture is an absolute must

Journalism, Content & Copywriting Intern – Utrecht

Are you passionate about writing and always full of ideas for creative content? Are you interested in sneakers, fashion, and sustainability? And are you studying communication, journalism, marketing, or media? Then we have the perfect internship for you!

As an intern within the content team, you’ll have the opportunity to write a variety of texts and create content for our different online platforms Sneakerjagers.com, Thedropdate.com, Reflawn.com, each with its own focus:

• The Dutch and European sneaker and fashion market
• The sneaker and fashion community in the UK
• Innovation and sustainability within the sneaker and fashion world

What will you do?
This versatile internship gives you the chance to gain experience in storytelling, copywriting, SEO, social media, and content strategies. You’ll contribute to blog posts, interviews, news articles, campaigns, social media content, visual content, video content, and more, all tailored to the target audience and tone of voice of each platform.

Examples of your tasks:

• Writing articles about sneaker releases, fashion trends, or sustainability
• Contributing ideas and writing social media content
• Editing, rewriting, and optimising existing texts
• Supporting brainstorm sessions and content planning
• Conducting research on trends, innovations, and industry news
• Translating or adapting texts for different languages/audiences
• Learning not just how to use AI tools (like ChatGPT), but also how to understand and work with them smartly, from research to content creation.

What are we looking for?

• An MBO/HBO level of thinking and working
• You’re studying in the field of communication, media, journalism, or marketing
• You have a passion for language and an interest in sneakers, fashion, and/or sustainability
• You can work independently and have a proactive attitude
• You write flawless Dutch and/or English
• Basic knowledge of SEO is a plus

What will you do?
As a Video & Editing Intern, you are part of our young and creative content team. You use your skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and other tools to edit high-quality videos and bring stories to life. You actively contribute ideas for new formats and have the space to develop your own concepts. Together with the team, you create strong visuals that perfectly connect with our community.

Your tasks:

• Editing and assembling videos for social media and our website.
• Creating and implementing new creative video formats.
• Enhancing existing content with visuals and animations.

You stay up to date with the latest sneaker news and brainstorm with the team to create relevant, high-quality content. Release Assistant Intern – Utrecht

Are you always up to date with the latest sneaker releases? Not only do you know what’s dropping next week, but you’re also already aware of releases for next year? Do you also have commercial insight? And last but not least, are you studying a commercial or marketing-related program? If so, we might have the perfect internship for you!

As an intern within the 'product catalog' team, you get the chance to put your passion for sneakers to work and take the sneaker search engine and release calendar to the next level.

This challenging and versatile internship offers you the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of Marketing. You actively support the team in keeping the release calendar complete and up to date. This goes beyond just Instagram, as you scour the web for the latest updates.

In collaboration with the social media team, you discuss which releases should be highlighted. Basic knowledge of Photoshop comes in handy, as there are plenty of opportunities to design your own mock-ups. In short, you get the chance to develop yourself broadly through a variety of tasks! 😊
