By now, it has been a while since we saw the first drop of the collab between A$AP Rocky and PUMA. During the Las Vegas Grand Prix, they presented their first collection inspired by motorsport. On 3 May 2024, they will release no less than nine new items, dear community. Besides clothing, the second drop will also include the return of the Inhale sneaker model.
Since his appointment as creative director for the F1 x PUMA collab last year, 2023, A$AP Rocky continues to push the boundaries. This is once again evident in the upcoming release, inspired by drivers' clothing and the hectic pace of a pit stop.
The second A$AP Rocky x PUMA drop
The collection includes a Formula 1-inspired helmet balaclava, where a subtle hint to Ferrari can be seen in the colours and logo on the side. We also see a tracksuit inspired by vintage racing suits, complete with fake grease stains to enhance the vintage look.
Other highlights include gloves with striking orange and yellow stripes meant to represent the skeleton in the hand. Several T-shirts will also start dropping with a seatbelt running across the shirt and Speedcat branding, an homage to PUMA's iconic Formula 1 shoes.
The icing on the cake of the collection is the reintroduction of the Inhale sneaker model in its OG colorway. The sneaker has a cream nylon mesh base with the classic gradient Formstrip, a feature that has become synonymous with PUMA.
A$AP Rocky also added his personal style to the sneakers with custom-made insoles with vintage PUMA branding, available exclusively in 150 pairs of the Inhale OG.
