Jil Sander x PUMA Speedcat and Suede for SS27

Jil Sander and PUMA pick up where the K-Street left off. For Spring/Summer 2027, the fashion house presents the Jil Sander x PUMA Speedcat and the Suede in a restrained palette of black and white. The Jil Sander x PUMA Speedcat in particular stands out.

The duo showed the models around Milan Fashion Week. The black Jil Sander x PUMA Speedcat has a full leather upper in a single colour. Notably, the familiar Formstrip is missing as a separate panel. PUMA's signature returns instead as perforations in the leather. It hardly gets more subtle than that.

The white version takes a different route. Here too the upper is tonal, but the Formstrip is made of suede. That keeps the brand mark visible, through material rather than colour. Alongside it comes a white Suede, where colour contrast makes way for tonal details.

Slim, clean and without frills

Creative director Simone Bellotti builds on the slim line he introduced with the K-Street for SS26. To him, a narrow silhouette feels purer because it focuses on the essence of a shoe, without excess design or material. The Speedcat, originally designed for motorsport, lends itself well to that.

The partnership between the two brands dates back to 1998. After the K-Street, which arrived on 8 April 2026, these two models continue that line.

A release date and retail price in euros have not been announced yet, and neither have the style codes. Given the season, we expect the models in spring 2027, but that is not confirmed.
