In 1985 Nike came out with the Air Jordan 1, but after a month the NBA banned the shoe. After this decision, Michael Jordan spoke the words: "They Can't Stop You From Wearing Them". This text now adorns the upper of the Air Jordan 1. As an extra detail, there is a large red cross on the heel that refers to the ban on the sneaker. The colours on the model are black and grey, almost identical to the 'Shadow' colorway.
