AFEW x ASICS Gel-Lyte III 'B.O.I'

After a very successful collaboration of the previously released GEL LYTE III 'Beauty Of Imperfection CP 1/1', which raised €13000 for charity, AFEW and ASICS are coming together again. They have put their focus on a new GEL-LYTE III called 'B.O.I'. You can score the sneaker via an online raffle or in AFEW's store on Saturday, February 26 at 8pm.

The 'B.O.I' has an upper of grey suede with purple suede/canvas heels. Like the previous version, this one is also inspired by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. This is a Japanese philosophical belief, which is about seeking beauty in imperfection.

With this in mind, the leather stripes on the side change from greenish-gray to pink as the sneaker wears out. Wabi-Sabi (侘寂) signs appear on the heels and on the insoles, which are made of cork. A final detail is the vintage beige midsole.
