KITH continues to expand and will open a new flagship store in Chicago this month, located among other stores such as BAPE, RSVP Gallery, and Leaders1354. To celebrate the new store, KITH is teaming up with ASICS to unveil a collection of eight sneakers that will drop during the opening.

As we’ve come to expect from Ronnie Fieg, founder of KITH, he goes big with every project, and the opening of KITH Chicago is no exception. For this launch, he drew inspiration from the World’s Fair, an exhibition that took place in both New York and Chicago.
This idea grew into an extensive project with ASICS, resulting in no fewer than 36 samples being created. Out of those, eight pairs have been selected for release. Which specific sneakers these will be is still unknown, but Fieg has already teased a glimpse of what we can expect.
The line-up includes ASICS’ most popular silhouettes, such as the GEL-Lyte III, GEL-Kayano 14, and GEL-Lyte 3.1. The sneakers feature minimalist designs with off-white uppers combined with pastel tones. Each release is constructed with premium materials like quilted leather, soft suede, and breathable mesh.
With this drop, Fieg stays true to his promise of pairing every store opening with an exclusive sneaker release. Previously, we saw this with the Osaka-exclusive New Balance releases, and now Chicago is set to be blessed with its own collection.
Release
For the official unveiling of the full KITH x ASICS collaboration, we’ll need to be patient a little longer, but the release is scheduled for the grand opening on October 4, 2025. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for more articles like this.
