Hello friends, as you have already noticed, it's 90s Week with us this week. Every day we look back on great events, films and music of the 90s. In this post, we want to introduce you to some of the best 90s sneakers that you can currently buy in new editions. Some shoes have real history and are very special for the community.
A small note: We also cover models from the 90s with new colour blocking or reinterpreted colourways.
What fits the 90s better than the Air Max 90?
The shoe has an incredible history behind it and is still totally popular today. The Air Max 90 was first released in 1990 and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2020. Since the shoe was the third model in the Air Max series, the model is also known by many as the Air Max III. The OG colourway of the Nike Air Max 90 'Infrared' was released last year and is still available for purchase.
I also picked out two more important colourways of the Air Max 90. Just click on one of the pictures to get to the respective shoe. There you will also see the corresponding prices.
adidas Ultra Tech
The popular adidas running models were originally launched in 1991 and have been relaunched by adidas in 2018. You can still buy two different colourways. Some of the shoes are even on sale.

Jordan Heat with real classics
In the 90s, there was really only one team: the Chicago Bulls dominated the NBA with their superstar Michael Jordan. The shoes MJ wore were of course remembered, including the Jordan 11, which is one of the most popular silhouettes in the Jordan range.
First released in 1995, the Jordan 11 was also the first shoe to use patent leather as a material and was said to be Michael's favourite for the court as well as the street. For the 25th anniversary, the Air Jordan 11 'Jubilee' was released, which is now available as a WMNS version in some sizes.
I also picked out the Air Jordan 6 WMNS 'Translucent'. MJ won the championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1991 with the Jordan 6. Just click on a picture if you are interested in one of the shoes.
New Balance 574
The New Balance 574 could actually be attributed to the 80s, because the 574 was first introduced to the market in 1988. However, it really gained popularity in the 90s in the sports sector. Similar to many models of that time, the shoe was originally designed as a running and sports shoe.
A really cool sneaker from the 90s that was mainly used in the sports world at the time and is now a street style staple.
More sneakers of the 90s
The list of the best sneakers of the 90s is actually endless. At the end, I'll show you a few absolute classics like the Air Max 95, the Nike Air Huarache or the Air Max 97.
