adidas Originals has just confirmed that the ‘Vega Baja’ colorway of the adidas Gazelle Indoor, in collaboration with Bad Bunny, will be the next release in the line-up. This colorway follows the three earlier versions: ‘Cabo Rojo’, ‘Santurce’, and ‘El Yunque’.
Together, these four colorways form a cultural map of Puerto Rico, a tribute to the places that shaped the artist’s youth and career.
The first three colorways from the ‘City Series’ were among the most sought-after sneaker releases of the summer. With each pair serving as an ode to a specific city or region in Puerto Rico, the collection was an instant hit.
During the The Archive exhibition in Puerto Rico, several unreleased colorways of the Gazelle Indoor were spotted. Two pairs drew the most attention: a yellow colorway honoring the city of Vega Baja and a red pair believed to reference the architecture of the southern city of Ponce.
Release
It is not yet known when the ‘Vega Baja’ and ‘Ponce’ will be released. However, it is expected that the sneakers will drop sometime in 2025. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates on this collaboration.
The Archive is an exhibition at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico showcasing sneakers from artist Bad Bunny. The exhibition runs from August 6 to August 17, 2025.
The exact release date for the ‘Vega Baja’ has not yet been announced. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for the latest updates on this collaboration.
