The new Wales Bonner x adidas Holiday 2026 collection has been unveiled, and it is all about material. This season, Grace Wales Bonner works with croc leather, suede and pony hair. So far, Wales Bonner x adidas Holiday 2026 counts five sneakers across four models.

The Gazelle Suede Croc 'Green Night' (KK0735) features a dark green croc-textured upper, white Three Stripes and a gum sole. Bright blue lining adds contrast on the inside. You'll find that same blue lining in the Adizero Adios Suede 'Wonder White' (KK0774). It pairs off-white suede with hand-finished Three Stripes. A notable choice: the Adizero Adios comes from the running world, but gets a luxury lifestyle treatment here.

The Karintha Croc 'Dark Brown' (KK0733) goes for glossy brown croc-effect leather, black stripes and gold-tone eyelets. The Karintha is one of the newer silhouettes in the partnership; last year it already appeared in a sequinned version.

Two BW Army pairs in pony hair
The return of the BW Army stands out. The name refers to the Bundeswehr: the model started out in the 1980s as a training shoe for the German army. Wales Bonner now brings the silhouette in two versions with pony hair and glossy textured leather. The 'Black Pony' (KK2813) is fully black and sits on a gum sole. The 'Khaki Pony' (KK2809) gets a khaki finish with burgundy lining. A subtle detail you only notice when you step in.

Pony hair is familiar territory for the duo. For Fall/Winter 2023, Wales Bonner already released a Samba with a leopard print in a pony hair look, followed by the Samba Pony Tonal Low.
From Samba hype to Hermès
Grace Wales Bonner is a British-Jamaican designer from South London. She studied at Central Saint Martins and launched her label in 2014. Two years later, she won the LVMH Prize for young designers. Her work weaves Black culture and history into tailoring and sportswear, with influences ranging from writer James Baldwin to jazz and lovers rock.
She has worked with adidas since 2020. Her takes on the Samba drew the most attention: many see her as one of the driving forces behind the model's renewed popularity. Since then came, among others, a collection with a nod to hip-hop, the Fall 2025 collection and the Summer 2026 collection. Outside adidas, she surprised with a Stüssy collab.
Her role in fashion keeps growing too. In October 2025, Hermès announced Wales Bonner as the new creative director of its menswear line. She succeeds Véronique Nichanian, who led the line for 37 years.
Exactly when Wales Bonner x adidas Holiday 2026 lands in Europe has not been confirmed yet. Retail prices are also still unknown.
