It’s no secret that the partnership between Grace Wales Bonner and adidas has redefined the landscape of sneaker culture over the past years. What started as a niche collaboration has evolved into a seasonal staple that sells out almost immediately. Now, for Summer 2026, the duo is back, and quite frankly, it’s as sophisticated as ever. We first spotted these styles at Paris Fashion Week, and now it seems the release is just around the corner.
Wales Bonner x adidas 2026 – earthy, animalistic and signature Wales Bonner
While previous drops leant heavily into the Samba, amongst other models, this season’s collection shifts the spotlight onto the Gazelle Indoor and the Karintha model. Check out the past collections of adidas and Wales Bonner here!
The standout piece of the new 2026 collection is undoubtedly the Gazelle Indoor in a ‘Rattlesnake’ colorway. Featuring embossed leather that mimics snakeskin, this design can be described as another nod to Wales Bonner’s ability to blend high-fashion luxury with sportswear heritage. The palette remains grounded but elevated, featuring earthy tones, deep oxblood, and hits of cream.
Next up is another adidas Gazelle Indoor iteration with pony hair on the upper. It doesn’t get more on-trend than this, as the colour brown is combined with pony hair, which is essentially the trend in 2026.
Additional standout details of the two Gazelle Indoor designs include the stitching on the heel, which we have already seen in the last collection on the Superstar, as well as the unique laces.
Moving away from the classic terrace shapes, the Karintha offers a more streamlined, low-profile look. This is Wales Bonner's first all-original adidas shoe, and now the silhouette arrives in two new takes: in black and white and white and black, with the same brown leather from the Gazelle appearing on the T-toes, as well as a blue lining and brown sole.
