On March 26, it’s Air Max Day again, a day that has been celebrated for years with one release after another. This year introduces the Air Liquid Max, a release that evokes the Nike Air Max Dn8 from a few years back, as if it had been dipped in water.
The sneaker was previously spotted in a clip by Yeat and will also appear in a collaboration with fragment design, teased by Hiroshi Fujiwara himself. Just recently, Nike revealed the official images of the release, and they’re impressive.

The Air Liquid Max features a striking Air unit with an entirely new point-loaded Air distribution, meaning the cushioning is placed only where it’s truly needed. In some ways, the sole resembles the recently unveiled Nike Mind 001, which uses rounded pods at the foot's pressure points.
The upper has a technical mesh construction with a triple-texture print. The material gives the sneaker its modern look while also providing extra support.
The design of the first colorway references a poison dart frog, recognizable by its bright, toxic green color. Silver Swooshes and a tinted, translucent sole complete the design.

The Nike Air Liquid Max will debut on March 26, 2026, via the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers. The expected retail price is €200.
