The Nike Air Liquid Max, the latest silhouette seemingly gearing up for Air Max Day, makes its appearance in the latest collaboration with fragment design. The sneaker has a striking look, featuring ‘liquid’ Air units in the sole that appear to draw inspiration from the Air Max Dn8.
The Air Liquid Max was recently teased by rapper Yeat, known for tracks like COMË N GO, Out thë Way, and If We Being Rëal. In his latest music video for the song Made It On Our Own, the rapper can be seen wearing the new silhouette, presented in a vibrant green-and-black colorway.
Less than a week after the first teaser of the new silhouette, sneaker legend Hiroshi Fujiwara revealed a new collaboration on the Nike Air Liquid Max with his label fragment design. The collaboration comes in an all-black colorway with subtle branding on the tongue.
The sneaker is constructed from sturdy mesh, with structural panels on the upper that provide contrast. The sole features translucent Air units, giving the impression that they have been dipped in water.
For now, it’s not yet known when the Nike Air Liquid Max will make its debut. March is Air Max Month, which is celebrated extensively on the 26th with Air Max Day, a moment often marked by the newest releases. Whether the collaboration with fragment design will be released then is still unclear.
