After the recent three-part collaboration between CLOT, BAPE, and adidas, the duo (this time without Nigo’s input) is teaming up again. For their next collaboration, Edison Chen, founder of CLOT, unveils the adidas Qi Flow: a new silhouette inspired by Eastern fashion.
The Qi Flow follows in the footsteps of previous experimental interpretations of adidas silhouettes by CLOT. Think of the Stan Smith, which was given a summery espadrille look, or the Superstar, which received a dress-shoe treatment. For this next release, CLOT was given the freedom to introduce an entirely new silhouette.
The Qi Flow seems to draw inspiration from the espadrilles you would wear under linen trousers. The upper is constructed from deconstructed black fabric with lacing over the instep, reminiscent of traditional Hanfu clothing, further emphasizing the Chinese influences.
A striking detail is the small faux pearl that replaces the top lace, adding a refined and luxurious touch to the collaboration.
For now, the CLOT x adidas Qi Flow does not have an official release date. However, the model is likely expected to arrive at adidas in the summer of 2026. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for the latest updates.
