We’re only a few days into 2026, yet adidas has already announced a sneaker that could very well be the chicest of the year. It’s the adidas Superstar Lux ‘Made in Italy’, which gives the classic Superstar a refined twist.
The year 2025 was entirely dedicated to the adidas Superstar. With campaigns featuring big names such as Samuel L. Jackson, Missy Elliott, and GloRilla, the sneaker once again solidified its status as a true classic. In addition, releases like the Superstar II appeared, alongside collaborations with JJJJound, Pharrell Williams, BAPE, and CLOT, and just before the end of 2025, even the first-ever collaboration with Young Thug.
Adidas continues this momentum into the coming year with the adidas Superstar Lux ‘Made in Italy’, crafted in Italy. The sneaker bridges the gap between sneakers and dress shoes, doing so in a way that feels entirely its own.
The silhouette features a premium nubuck upper. A stacked leather outsole provides a sturdy foundation while maintaining a high-fashion profile. A full leather lining and a matching leather sockliner complete the release.
The Superstar Lux ‘Made in Italy’ is available now at adidas and selected retailers, with a retail price of €400.
