The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low SP was inspired by designs taken from Jordan's archives. The sneaker's designer, Virgil Abloh, wondered what the Air Jordan 2 would look like if they were taken from a time capsule. This question gave rise to the partially transparent crumbled midsole.

This Air Jordan 2 has a predominantly black colour, with blue details. Michael Jordan's signature is drawn on the centre panel. On the tongue, the Wing logo can be found in blue. In addition, the pair has received Off-White's famous zip tie in orange.

Besides the black version, Nike and Off-White also released a white version, a colorway that was almost identical to the original Air Jordan 2.
