A new JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 is coming
JJJJound and New Balance are joining forces once again. The Montreal-based streetwear label has announced, right after their collaboration with A Bathing Ape, another colaboration with New Balance. This time, the two are tackling the 990v3.
The 990v3 appears in a green colorway. The material on the upper consists of mesh, leather and suede. The mesh and suede are the same colour green. The green seen on the leather overlays is a bit darker. JJJJound is known for their minimalism and it shows on this pair.
The heeltab is light grey and reflects when lighted. The tongue is also grey. On the tongue you can see the New Balance logo. The upper lacing eyelets are made of the same grey material as the label on the tongue. The laces of this pair are in a light cream colour.
In contrast to the laces, the midsole is in white. The Encap midsole does have the light cream colour of the laces. Finally, the outsole is black, as is the lining and insole. The JJJJound logo can be seen on the black insole.
The JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 has no official release date yet. However, the pair is expected to be released this year. Until then, we can take a look at the first images of the pair.

The upper of the 990v3 'Olive' is made of mesh, leather and suede. The base of the pair is in green and made of mesh. On the toebox and under the collar are leather overlays. These have a dark green colour. The rest of the overlays are made of suede and have the same green colour as the mesh. The 'N' on the side is in black.
