JJJJound Wraps the New Balance 990v3 Entirely in Suede

JJJJound and New Balance have revealed a new take on the 990v3 for Fall/Winter 2026. This time, the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 comes in a tan colorway with black accents. Release date and price are still unknown, but the first images of the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 already show plenty.

Where earlier versions often paired mesh with suede, the Montreal label now opts for an upper made entirely of tan suede. The overlays are suede as well, so the shoe reads almost as one single piece. A black N on the side and an all-black sole provide the contrast.

Small details, familiar approach

The tongue is also tan suede, with black stitched New Balance branding and the familiar 'New Balance USA' tag. Production takes place in New England. As usual, JJJJound keeps its own branding low-key: the logo only appears on the black insole.

The partnership between the two brands started in 2018, with the 990v3 as the first model. Since then, the duo has returned to this silhouette several times, including olive and brown versions in 2022. With its all-suede build, the new JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 refers back to details from that very first collaboration.

When and through which channels the sneaker will drop in the Netherlands and Europe has not been confirmed yet. The same goes for the retail price in euros. Early reports suggest JJJJound may work with a pre-order, but that is not official.
