Fresh off the Paris Fashion Week stage, Willy Chavarria is bringing two striking takes on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s signature model to retail this July. A silhouette that reworks classic basketball style through a high-fashion lens.
The Willy Chavarria x adidas Jabbar Lo embodies Chavarria's forte for blending heritage with radical elegance. Two versions arrive this summer. One that stays faithful to the OG design, and another labelled 'Dress' that pushes the silhouette into more refined territory.
The more traditional pair features off-white leather with black detailing. A standout black tongue tag showcases the dual adidas x Willy Chavarria branding, while gold 'Willy' text is stitched into the Three Stripes. Up front, a black rubber toe cap reminiscent of the adidas Superstar adds a modern hybrid touch.
On the other hand, the 'Jabbar Dress Lo.' appears dressed in off-white and blue, with tan stitch accents. It features a low-profile sole and a sharply pointed toe box.
