Concepts (CNCPTS) once again joins forces with New Balance, this time taking on the 997. The release, titled 'Montage', recalls earlier collaborations between the duo through its color palette and detailing, once again developed under the direction of Deon Point.
The CNCPTS x New Balance 997 Made in USA 'Montage' drops on December 17, 2025, via New Balance.
CNCPTS, led by Deon Point, and New Balance are responsible for a wide range of releases. Just last year, the duo unveiled a fresh colorway of the 740, a sneaker that appeared frequently in the news that year.
The 997 has also been used before; think of the 'Rosé' release from 2014, which featured a striking pink colorway. That release also appears in the teaser video for the new drop: the 'Montage'.
The new colorway combines grey with black and pink accents. The upper is made of sturdy suede, with perforations on the toe box to help the shoe breathe. The sneaker features a yellowed midsole, giving the impression that the pair comes straight out of the 1990s, the decade in which the model originated.
The visible foam on the tongue gives the pair a DIY look, as does the scribble-like accent on the forefoot and the red CNCPTS logo on the heel tab. On the mid-panel, the N logo is executed in a translucent yellow color.
The CNCPTS x New Balance 997 'Montage' will be released on December 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM via New Balance. Check out the official images of the release below and don’t miss this drop.
