The Nike Air Max 1 might just be the most important design in sneaker history. Introduced in the late '90s by none other than Tinker Hatfield, the sneaker, recognizable by the Air 'Bubble' in the sole – has made quite an impact.
From collaborations with names like Patta, Concepts, HUF, and Supreme, to limited releases with striking colorways and reissued OGs, you can find nearly every Air Max 1 ever released on StockX. The models below are even available under retail right now.

HUF x Nike Air Max 1 SP 'Pear' (2024)

One of the most coveted Air Max 1 releases made a comeback in 2024: the HUF collab, originally released in 2004. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the duo reissued the collaboration, consisting of three colorways. The ‘Pear’ features HUF’s signature green, making it a beloved release.
The HUF x Nike Air Max 1 SP 'Pear' is now available below retail. Check out the sneaker here.
Nike Air Max 1 'Shima Shima'

Another release that made its long-awaited, or rather long-hoped-for, comeback in recent years was the Air Max 1 ‘Shima Shima’. It was first released in 2003 as part of the ‘Shima Shima’ pack, which also included an Air Trainer and Dunk High.
In 2023, the Air Max 1 from the pack made its return to the delight of many. Check out the sneaker here.
Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Rush Maroon'
If there’s a duo that works exceptionally well together, it’s Patta and Nike. After previous successful collaborations, like the Air Max 1 ‘Chlorophyll’ from 2009, the two teamed up again in 2021 with the ‘Wave’ pack, featuring five colorways, each recognizable by the wavy mudguard.
The 'Rush Maroon' was one of them and is now available below retail. Check out the sneaker here.
Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 SP 'Mellow'

Concepts (CNCPTS) also has an impressive history with Nike. In 2022, they released a pack featuring four striking colorways. The ‘Mellow’ is the most understated of them all, despite its bold design — quite the statement.

Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Big Bubble 'Sport Red'
To celebrate Air Max Day in 2023, Nike brought back the ‘86 version of the silhouette. Before the Air Max 1 received its iconic design in 1987, there was a 1986 variant with a larger Air Unit. Due to technical challenges, this design didn’t make it to the finish line at the time and remained archived.
In 2023, Nike reissued the original silhouette in the OG 'Sports Red' colorway. Check out the sneaker here.
Nike Air Max 1 '86 PRM 'Powerwall BRS'

In 2024, Nike built on the ‘Big Bubble’ legacy by releasing the '86 version of the iconic ‘Powerwall BRS’ colorway. The original 2006 release was refreshed with new colors like green, pink, and bronze. Good news for those who missed out back then: the sneaker is now available below retail.

Nike Air Max 1 'Olympic'

Finally, the ‘Olympic’ colorway from 2024. This sneaker was released in honor of the Olympic Games in Paris, specially made for the American athletes. The design draws inspiration from the 2015 release, but swaps the upper and overlays. The gold Swoosh on the mid-panel completes the look.
