Vans is kicking off its 60th anniversary with a striking release. The 'Charms' pack has just dropped, drawing inspiration from the iconic Chanel La Habana bag from 2017 (although Vans does not appear to explicitly acknowledge this). The pack features three colorways of the Vans Authentic, a true classic within Vans’ repertoire.
This is explicitly not a collaboration, even though seeing both the pack and the Chanel bag might suggest otherwise. The pack arrives in three colorways: an olive green pair, a white pair, and a red–white–blue version that most strongly evokes Chanel.
The sneakers feature striped sequins along the sides, a canvas upper, and playful details such as paint splatters on the toe box and a pre-distressed midsole. The latter, in particular, is something we’ve been seeing more and more from Vans lately, especially within their Premium line (ironically enough).
Metal elements have been placed on the heel as a subtle nod to the hardware of the La Habana bag. The ‘Charms’ theme comes to life through colorful paracord laces and a removable metal keychain adorned with charms.
In addition to the Authentic Premium, we can also expect Old Skool Premium variants in the near future, set to drop in February 2026.
