Update October 10, 2025 – In a year when flat-soled sneakers are more popular than ever, the adidas Jellyfish, designed by Pharrell Williams, follows its own path. The sneaker was first released earlier this year in an orange colorway and was an instant success.
On October 11, 2025, two new colorways will drop: ‘Green’ and ‘Grey’.
The ‘Green’ colorway, which was previously teased (see the article below), stands out with its neon green overlays on the upper and sole. The ‘Grey’ colorway, unlike the bright ‘Green’ and ‘Orange’ versions released earlier this summer, opts for a more subdued look, combining various shades of grey.
Both colorways will be released on October 10, 2025, via adidas and select retailers. You can register through the Sneakerjagers release calendar for raffles that are already open.
Please note: compared to regular adidas sneakers, the Jellyfish has a relatively high retail price (€300).

Pharrell Williams' adidas VIRGINIA Jellyfish Appears in a 'Green' Colorway

Original post September 13, 2025 - It is perhaps one of the most striking releases of the year: the adidas VIRGINIA Jellyfish, designed by Pharrell Williams. In a sneaker landscape dominated by low-top sneakers, the Jellyfish charts its own course, featuring a silhouette even chunkier than the Balenciaga Triple S from 2018.
Now, a second colorway of the pair is being released.
After months of anticipation, adidas’ latest silhouette, called Jellyfish, made its debut last month. The sneaker launched in an orange colorway, featuring dynamic overlays throughout the design. Despite the €300 price tag, the sneaker sold out almost immediately.
It was never a question of if the sneaker would get a follow-up release, but when. And now it’s here. The adidas VIRGINIA Jellyfish 'Green' pays tribute to the versatile musician and designer and his roots in Virginia Beach, with a nod to marine life.
The model is a reinterpretation of the 2005 Adistar Cushion, featuring robust 3D overlays. As the name suggests, the Green colorway uses off-white, green, black, and olive tones. In line with the deep-sea theme, the aerodynamic green details on the upper are in a slightly brighter shade, reminiscent of bioluminescent sea creatures.
It is not yet known when the adidas VIRGINIA Jellyfish 'Green' will release. However, we can already check out the official images of the sneaker. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates on this (and other) releases.
The sneaker, designed by Pharrell Williams, has a retail price of €300.
