The PUMA Speedcat is getting a new variant, and it looks like it came straight out of 2010. The PUMA Speedcat Wedge strongly resembles Isabel Marant’s sneaker boots, although an official collaboration (for now) seems to be off the table.
For anyone who thought the Speedcat had lost its momentum, think again. After collaborations with names like Rosie, OPEN YY, and even Balenciaga, we recently saw the Speedcat Ballet, a hybrid silhouette that just might be the sneaker of the year. So why stop there?
The Speedcat Wedge transforms the familiar silhouette into a bold boot with a padded collar, à la Isabel Marant’s designs. So far, four colorways of the Speedcat Wedge have been revealed: ‘Beige,’ ‘Brown,’ ‘Black,’ and ‘White.’
The Formstrip appears on the mid-panel, with a strap across the forefoot. A PUMA logo sits on the toe box. The padded tongue and collar provide comfort while giving the pair its signature chunky design.
The first colorway of the PUMA Speedcat Wedge, the ‘Totally Taupe’, will be released at PUMA on December 4, 2025. The other colorways will most likely follow later.
Check out the official release images below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates.
No, the PUMA Speedcat Wedge isn’t an official collaboration with Isabel Marant, but who knows, we might just see a release from the duo shortly.
