New Balance is giving its Made in USA line a fresh update this spring. For Spring/Summer 2026, the brand has opted for more colour and slightly more contrast than we have seen in recent seasons. While there are no radical changes, there is a clear shift toward a lighter, more summery aesthetic.
Classic Models in New Hues
The New Balance Made in USA S/S 26 collection will be released in six stages (drops) between February and June 2026, featuring the 990v4, 992, 993, and 1300 sneaker silhouettes.
In the first drop, we see the return of familiar models such as the New Balance 990v4 ‘Olive Leaf’ and the New Balance 992 ‘Olivine’, followed later by the New Balance 993 ‘Passion Fruit’. The foundation remains unchanged: premium suede, breathable mesh, and the renowned ENCAP cushioning. What sets this season apart are the colours.
The 990v4 ‘Olive Leaf’ arrives in a soft olive green shade perfect for spring. The 992 ‘Olivine’ combines grey with green, resulting in a look that feels fresh yet remains easy to style. These aren't wild or extreme colorways, but rather subtle adjustments that breathe new life into the silhouettes.
Later in the season, the New Balance 993 ‘Passion Fruit’ will follow with more striking accents, alongside various iterations of the New Balance 1300 in new colour combinations. With this collection, New Balance demonstrates that Made in USA isn't just about shades of grey and muted tones, it also has room for a bit more energy.
More Colour, Same Quality
Under the creative direction of Teddy Santis, the Made in USA line continues its steady evolution. For Spring/Summer 2026, Santis hasn't chosen a completely new direction but rather a clever update of an already strong formula.
The sneakers are still produced in New Balance’s American factories, staying true to high-quality materials and robust craftsmanship. Premium suede, breathable mesh, and signature cushioning once again form the core of the collection.
The main difference this season is the overall vibe. While previous collections often revolved around grey and earth tones, SS26 brings a bit more colour. It remains recognisably New Balance but feels lighter and better suited for the spring season.
When Does the New Balance Made in USA Spring/Summer 2026 Drop?
The New Balance Made in USA Spring/Summer 2026 collection will be released in multiple drops between February and June 2026. The first release takes place on 26 February 2026, with more colorways following throughout the spring.
