On-Foot Images of the Nardwuar x Nike SB Dunk
Update September 29, 2025 – A few months after the first rumors about a Nardwuar x Nike collab surfaced, we now finally get detailed images of the sneaker in question. It’s the SB Dunk, dressed head to toe in plaid, a print referencing Nardwuar’s iconic cap.
A collaboration that makes perfect sense: Nardwuar, full name Nardwuar the Human Serviette, is getting his own, well-deserved Nike Dunk. The music journalist is known for his striking interviews, where his in-depth research and sharp questions often lead to hilarious moments.
For his first collaboration with Nike, the journalist introduces an SB Dunk in plaid — a perfect match with his distinctive style. In the newly revealed images, we get a closer look at the sneaker.
The model incorporates the tartan pattern of Nardwuar’s beret, with a pom-pom as a lace accessory. His well-known interview outro, “Doot Doola Doot Doo… Doot Doo!” is featured both on the heel and beneath the icy, translucent outsole.

The First Images of the Nardwuar x Nike SB Dunk Have Appeared
Update June 23, 2025 – Possibly the most striking collab of the year: Nardwuar x Nike. Earlier this year, the first mock-up images of a plaid Nike SB Dunk Low surfaced online. Now, just over a month later, we finally see the official photos of the anticipated sneaker.
As expected, the sneaker is covered head to toe in a plaid pattern reminiscent of Scottish kilts and the journalist’s iconic hat. The outsole and Swoosh are black.

Nardwuar gets its well-deserved collaboration with Nike
Original post May 7, 2025 - Doot doola doot doo! Music journalist and former musician Nardwuar the Human Serviette, or simply Nardwuar, is getting his own collaboration with Nike. The journalist is known for his humorous interviews with the world's biggest artists, in which he takes his research very seriously and digs deep into the interviewee's life.
Nardwuar's quirky interview style and distinctive fashion sense have made the Canadian one of the most beloved figures in the industry. His interviews have produced many memorable moments and have even become the source of various memes – think of Lil Uzi Vert's "WRIIIEEHHH" or Travis Scott's "Belt" comment.
In 2019 declared the city of Vancouver September 29th as 'Nardwuar Day', and now it seems that this day is getting its own special release. We're talking about the Nike SB Dunk Low featuring a plaid pattern—a design that perfectly aligns with Nardwuar’s style (especially his signature beret).
The sneaker showcases a red-black-green plaid across the entire upper, with a black leather Swoosh on the mid-panel that matches seamlessly with the outsole. At first glance, Nardwuar’s personal logo does not appear on the sneaker.
