Nike SB

Nike SB

Nike SB is a successful example of what can happen when professional skaters are given the opportunity to design their own sneakers.
Nike first delved into the world of skateboarding in the late 90s, but with little success.
It was after Sandy Bodecker's contributions to the brand and the introduction of the Nike SB Dunk that it began to take off in the skating community, with skateboarding legend Paul Rodriguez adding to the hype when he signed up as their figurehead in 2004.
The current Nike SB team includes skateboarders Paul Rodriguez, Eric Koston, Stefan Janoski, Ishod Wair and Grant Taylor, to name just a few.

Sneaker Technology

A responsive cushioning innovation, Air Zoom offers excellent board feel and impact protection.
During landings, Nike SB shoes often feature Zoom Air in the heel or forefoot to absorb impact and enhance comfort.
The Nike Air unit is pressurised, creating low-profile cushioning and springy responsiveness.
