Miu Miu and New Balance are entering their fifth year together, and they are marking it with a surprising pick. At the Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris, the Miu Miu x New Balance RC150 hit the runway. With the Miu Miu x New Balance RC150, the duo pulls a fairly obscure runner out of the archive.

The partnership started in 2022, when the New Balance 574 appeared on Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2022 runway. That version was made in Italy, with raw-cut edges and a tongue carrying both brands' logos stacked on top of each other. In October 2023 came the 530 SL, with SL standing for super-lightweight. It arrived in aged suede and in a black-and-white version with mesh. This autumn, the 530 SL even returned as a ballerina-style slipper.
The RC150 fits right into that line of slim, light runners. New Balance first released it in the late nineties as a running shoe weighing around 150 grams, hence the name. Original pairs rarely turn up today.
Miu Miu keeps that light character but gives the design a rawer edge. The upper pairs soft technical mesh with suede, finished with embroidery and bold zigzag stitching in a contrasting colour. Underneath sits a flexible UltraLight sole. At the toe, double laces run through external loops. They are interchangeable, so you can tweak the look yourself.

Miu Miu's website lists three colorways: Indigo/Citron Yellow, Baltic Blue/Crimson and White/Indigo.

Miu Miu is already offering the sneakers through an exclusive online pre-order, which the brand says is reserved for selected clients. According to early reports, the wider release of the Miu Miu x New Balance RC150 follows in February 2027 through selected Miu Miu boutiques and online.
