In 2018, the Parra x Nike Air Max 1 was released. The sneakers were very exclusive, but the Friend & Family edition was even more exclusive. This one was only sold to Parra and Nike's loved ones and has a completely different look.
The first thing you notice when looking at the AM1 is that the Nike Swoosh is missing. The smaller Swoosh on the forefoot can be seen, but the larger one on the side has been left out. This makes Piet Parra's illustrations stand out. Parra's prints are very colourful and can be seen on the overlays and mudguard. The toebox is white, which makes the sneaker look a bit calmer. The blue colour of the cloud illustration can be seen on the outsole and in the Air Unit.
