Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Lucky Green' Returning?

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Lucky Green" has surfaced in leaked documents, and that's got sneaker fans on edge. Style code IU3169-001 points to a re-release of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Lucky Green" from 2010, one of the most sought-after colorways from that era. Nothing is official yet, but the pieces are slowly falling into place.

The story starts with Patta's anniversary pack, which the Amsterdam label released with Nike around 2010 to celebrate five years of Patta. That collection featured five colorways on the Air Max 1: "Purple Denim", "Denim", "Chlorophyll", "Cherrywood" and the highly coveted "Lucky Green".

Of that quartet, the Lucky Green has always been the hardest to track down, partly because only a handful of pairs ever circulated and the shoe was never widely retailed. When the Chlorophyll got an official retro in 2024, speculation about the rest of the pack immediately picked up, and the Lucky Green's name came up the most.

News of a possible return comes from Sneaker Market, which says it has seen internal documents carrying the style code and colorway description. Other sneaker outlets picked up the story afterwards, but an independent confirmation from Nike or Patta itself is still missing from all of these sources.

What we can see so far

Based on the leaked images and documents on the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Lucky Green", it's a black upper in canvas and mesh, with texture across the toe box and collar. A white leather Swoosh and white laces provide contrast, while the signature Lucky Green tone returns in the Patta branding on the tongue, eyestay and heel.

The midsole is white with a visible green Air unit, finished off with a gum outsole. It's exactly the build the Air Max 1 carried back in 2010, which fits with a faithful re-release rather than a reworked version.

Where the sources diverge is the exact release date. Some reports point to spring 2027, possibly around Air Max Day, while others keep it at "mid-2027". Neither Nike nor Patta have said a word about the release so far, so treat any date as an expectation rather than a fact for now.

The retail price is just as unclear. Foreign sources quote figures in dollars and pounds, but there's no official European price in euros yet.

For a collaboration of this calibre, a price in line with previous Patta x Nike releases wouldn't be a surprise, but we'd rather not attach a number to it until Nike or Patta confirms one for our market. We'll update this article the moment that happens.
