About the Daniëlle Cathari x New Balance 991v2 'Matcha' - Made in UK
Amsterdam-based designer Daniëlle Cathari has unveiled her first New Balance collaboration, a matcha-inspired 991v2. Cathari is the third partner to take on the hybrid design, which combines elements of the 991 and 992, after Patta and Stone Island.
The sneaker features a moss green and earthy brown colour scheme across its suede and meshes upper, with grey accents, two-tone midsole, and custom Cathari tongue tags. The cushioning setup has been upgraded to a modern FuelCell system that runs the entire length of the foot, replacing the standard ABZORB used in the 99X line.
