UNIQLO is once again teaming up with Brian Donnelly, better known by his artist name KAWS. Since 2016, the duo has released a variety of collections. The newest collection, titled WINTER, focuses, as the name suggests, on winter knitwear items.
The collection drops on November 27, 2025, and includes items for women, men, and children.
KAWS x UNIQLO
Although this isn’t the first collaboration between KAWS and UNIQLO, it is the first collection Donnelly has designed as the brand’s Artist in Residence. He was recently given this title, making him the first artist to hold such a position within UNIQLO.
The title stems from the long-standing partnership between the two parties. KAWS’ works, recognizable for their cartoon-like drawings, stand out thanks to the iconic “XX” motif, which has already appeared on previous UNIQLO classics.
This motif returns in the WINTER collection as well, along with the well-known “Companion” figure. The collection consists of colorful items that all use high-quality cashmere or lambswool. For example, the famous cashmere crew-neck jumper, one of UNIQLO’s bestsellers, appears in both women’s and men’s sizes, featuring the “XX” motif.
The collection also includes HEATTECH gloves, HEATTECH beanies, and HEATTECH scarves, as well as an extensive SOUFFLÉ line for kids, consisting of a sweater and warm accessories.
