Stüssy has just unveiled its collection for the upcoming spring season, and what can we say: basic is in. Don’t get me wrong—when I say "basic," I don’t mean it in a negative way. Perhaps the terms timeless and casual are more fitting. The lookbook reveals classic hoodies, jeans, jackets, and even a two-piece suit.
Stüssy is playing it cool. Over the past few months, things have been relatively quiet around the California-based skate brand, aside from a few capsule collections. The new collection continues this trend, bringing timeless designs with Stüssy’s iconic branding—perfect additions to your wardrobe, if you ask me.
In the lookbook, you'll find oversized shirts, wide-leg jeans, zip-up jackets, shorts—or jorts, whatever you want to call them—and bomber jackets. All effortlessly combinable.
Amidst all the basics, we also see some prints. The classic camo print returns on utility jackets, knitted long sleeves, and cargo pants. Vibrant plaid patterns adorn sleeveless shirts and the inner lining of trench coats. Denim also plays a prominent role in the collection, as seen in the jackets and jeans.
