When the night is still alive and the day is just beginning. A shoe made for the hours in between: city streets turning into trails, darkness turning into daylight, one experience naturally becoming the next.

The concept revolves around five in the morning: the quiet hour between night and day. You can see that moment in the iridescent upper, which changes character as soon as light hits it. Zig-zag contrast stitching runs across the tongue and adds some tension to the dark base.

The best detail sits inside. The insole fades from cool blue to warm orange, like the first glow of the morning. Under the laces you'll find a BSTN label carrying the slogan 'Common Ground'. According to both partners, it stands for their shared view on performance, design and contemporary culture. Logos from both brands also appear elsewhere on the silhouette.

The tech stays true to the XT-6

Beneath that layer of colour, the Salomon x BSTN XT-6 is still a proper XT-6. The upper is made of single-layer mesh with abrasion-resistant TPU, and the Mud Contagrip outsole has a rugged tread. On top of that you get agileCHASSIS, Quicklace, endoFit, SensiFit and an OrthoLite insole.
