Futura’s Nike Air Force 1 ‘FLOM’ (For Love or Money) release, originally designed as an extremely limited Friends & Family release to celebrate the artist’s 70th birthday, now appears to be getting a (small) public drop after all.
Rumor has it that only 70 pairs will be released around the holiday season.
The Air Force 1 reinterprets the original ‘FLOM’ concept with a revised colorway. The upper features a striking money-print design, framed by olive-green nubuck overlays. A pink satin lining and paint-splatter laces, direct references to Futura’s artistic background, complete the release.
A standout detail is the LXX logo on the heel, the Roman numeral for 70. Inside the tongue, you’ll also find the individual numbering of the limited run.
In a festive spirit, Futura announced that he will personally give away two pairs of the sneakers next month. When exactly this will happen is still unclear (I’d recommend keeping an eye on Futura’s Instagram).
For now, it’s not yet known when the Futura x Nike Air Force 1 ‘FLOM’ will officially be released. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for more articles like this.
