adidas and Bad Bunny Expand BadBo Line With BadBo 1.1

adidas Originals and Bad Bunny are expanding the BadBo franchise with two new releases. The BadBo 1.0 arrives in deep blue tones, while the new BadBo 1.1 introduces a brand-new low-top version of the silhouette.

Both the BadBo 1.0 and the BadBo 1.1 draw inspiration from the landscapes of Puerto Rico and hit shelves worldwide on September 26.

The BadBo was introduced earlier this year as Bad Bunny's signature silhouette within his partnership with adidas. The model was designed as Benito's everyday sneaker and reflects his versatile style, talents and interests.

The silhouette made its debut in a white colorway during the Super Bowl halftime show. It was followed by a beige-and-black 'Rise' edition, paired with Bad Bunny's first-ever apparel capsule for adidas.

For fall, the line-up now grows with two new versions that each draw inspiration from the island that continues to shape his creative vision.

The BadBo 1.0 captures the fleeting shift between the blue hour and dusk, the moment the sky over Puerto Rico turns into deep shades of navy and indigo. adidas builds the model in leather and suede, in a layered colour palette of Night Navy and Night Indigo.

The upper pairs rugged suede on the vamp with a neoprene base, finished with a cream midsole and a navy rubber outsole that completes the calm, nighttime gradient.

A Low-Top Evolution: BadBo 1.1

Alongside the BadBo 1.0, adidas introduces the BadBo 1.1, a new low-top branch of the family. The colorway draws inspiration from the Puerto Rican coastline, referencing seashells hidden beneath soft sand. That calm beach palette translates into shades of Chalk White, Grey and Soft Pink.

The BadBo 1.1 gets new proportions and a design language of its own. A three-wave overlay across the upper nods to the natural geography of the coastal landscape, while layered contrasting details and an adidas-heritage-inspired T-toe further shape the silhouette.

On the side panels, dimpled mesh replaces the leather seen on the BadBo 1.0, and extra mesh under the tongue makes for a lighter, airier build. This way, the BadBo 1.1 builds on its predecessor, honouring the generations that came before it.

The BadBo 1.0 carries a retail price of €160, while the BadBo 1.1 retails for €120. Both pairs release worldwide on September 26, 2026, including via adidas.com.
