Let’s talk about Bad Bunny’s BADBO 1.0 + outfit at the Super Bowl halftime show

Bad Bunny presented the Super Bowl LIX halftime performance on 9th February 2026. As we have come to know and love from the Puerto Rican artist, his show also gave us a look at a special shoe and outfit.

Here is what you need to know...

Bad Bunny x adidas BADBO 1.0 ‘Resilience’

The BadBo 1.0 is Bad Bunny's first-ever signature shoe with adidas Originals, initially introduced in a limited release of 1,994 pairs in a Brown colorway in January 2026. Read more on that here...

Dominating the stage in New Orleans, the superstar utilised the world’s most-watched platform to present his very own silhouette with adidas Originals: the BADBO 1.0 ‘Resilience’. Some voices say that the BADBO 1.0 represents a significant evolution in Bad Bunny’s partnership with the German sportswear giant. Bad Bunny and adidas have already been working together for a long time. Moving away from reimagining classics like the Forum or Campus, this signature model is now a ground-up creation.

The ‘Resilience’ colorway, which debuted during the show, features a colour palette of ‘Core Black’, ‘Carbon’, and ‘Wonder Beige’. The design blends early 2000s skate aesthetics with modern technical elements, boasting a chunky profile, heavy-duty mesh underlays, and premium suede overlays. Notable details include his signature ‘third eye’ branding on the tongue and a robust, semi-translucent midsole that anchors the shoe’s aggressive yet refined silhouette.

But let’s not just talk shoes: Bad Bunny’s overall attire captured the attention of high-fashion circles. His outfit was a bespoke creation that balanced avant-garde flair with utilitarian grit.

He wore a custom, multi-textured ensemble that played with proportions, featuring oversized, structured elements that complemented the 'chunky' nature of his new sneakers. The look was heavily accessorised with intricate jewellery, too.

The performance served as a little live lookbook for what we expect to be one of the most interesting releases of 2026. By choosing the Super Bowl to officially debut the BADBO 1.0, Bad Bunny has cemented his status in sneakers and fashion once more.

Release info

While official release dates, as well as other information regarding the silhouette, remain under wraps for now, the buzz generated in New Orleans suggests that the BADBO 1.0 will make waves in 2026.
