Nubikk

Dutch sneaker brand Nubikk was founded by Daan Baeten, who was looking for a for a fashionable and comfortable sneaker at an affordable price, something he found lacking in sneaker culture at the time.
Baeten had grown up in a family of shoemakers, so he had already acquired a lot of knowledge and skills - reason enough to start his own brand, and in 2012, Nubikk made its entrance.
A brand in which fashion and comfort go hand in hand, models such as the Jagger Classic and Jagger Tora in particular are beloved by many.
Nubikk distinguishes itself in the use of premium materials, craftsmanship and optimal comfort. In 2019, the brand opened its first flagship store in Amsterdam. Since the opening, two branches have been added in Antwerp and Munich.

Nubikk Design

Nubikk's sneakers have a minimalistic and chic look, designed and produced with high-level craftsmanship. Handmade in Portugal and other local factories in Europe, Nubikk shoes use high-quality materials such as leather, suede and mesh in their construction.
In particular, models such as the Jagger Classic, Jiro Vostro and Basket Court are doing well with sneaker lovers. The shoes are characterised by their sleek designs, and each sneaker has the Nubikk logo printed in gold in the upper.
In addition to the classics, Nubikk has recently introduced more chunky silhouettes, such as the Comet Runner and the Roque Road Wave, taking comfort to the next level. Chunky outsoles provide extra cushioning and grip, and combined with the sleek design on the upper, make these sneakers a great addition to your sneaker collection.

Nubikk Sustainability

Sustainability is paramount at Nubikk, and by working closely with European workshops, the brand reduces transportation distances and transport pollution, unlike brands that have their sneakers manufactured in Asia. The brand works according to EU laws and is transparent about their practices.
Nubikk's sneakers come in shoe boxes that are 100% recyclable, and the brand also strives to be 100% plastic-free. For example, the stickers on the inside of the sneakers have been replaced with recycled paper stickers and orders are shipped plastic-free.
In addition, Nubikk's suppliers are members of the Leather Working Group (LWG), a group that aims to improve sustainability within the leather industry by providing suppliers with guidelines for improvement.
