The PUMA Velophasis is getting an eye-catching colorway. In collaboration with Los Angeles-based streetwear brand PLEASURES, PUMA introduces a 'Grape Wine' colorway. The sneaker is releasing on June 24, 2023, at various retailers.

The PUMA Velophasis model draws inspiration from PUMA's running shoes from the 2000s. The sneaker features a chunky silhouette and is performance-oriented. The focus of the design is on comfort, but it also has a modern and stylish look.

PLEASURES is a well-known brand among sneaker enthusiasts. The brand came to life 2015 by Alex James and Vlad Elkin. The two are known for their controversial designs and draw inspiration from the punk and grunge scene. The clothing items are characterized by the well-known 'PLEASURES' logo, which is often prominently placed on the items.

After collaborating with Reebok, adidas, Dr. Martens, and Converse, PLEASURES is now partnering with PUMA for the first time. The VELOPHASIS appears in a summery look. The upper exists of mesh and features a speckled pattern. Leather overlays run across the design, and elements of synthetic materials are also incorporated.

The PLEASURES x PUMA Velophasis features a pink midsole that complements the upper of the sneaker. The logos of both brands exists on the tongue, heel, and insole. PUMA's well-known Formstrip is placed on the mid-panel.

The first collaboration between PUMA and PLEASURES pays homage to PUMA's origins and '00s aesthetics. One of the highlights is the Velophasis silhouette, which draws inspiration from PUMA's heritage running line.

Featuring pink and purple hues in different shades, it is a stand-out colorway that finishes with a white midsole that is washed out by the ‘Pink’ shade, leading into a pink rubber outsole.
