The Nike Air Max 90 was first released in 1990. The sneaker was a big step for Nike as the model is only the third silhouette with a visible Air Unit. After the success of the Air Max 1, Tinker Hatfield brought back the Air Unit on this model. The Air Max 90 is also recognizable by the cassette around the Air Unit.
 
The 'Mantra Orange' colorway is ideal for spring and summer. The upper is made with a combination of mesh, leather and suede. The mesh on the toebox is light blue, while the leather on the overlay is white. The mduguard is made of suede in a grey colour. The orange colour returns on the Swoosh, heeltab and Nike branding on the tongue.
