The adidas NMD has been given an upgrade with the NMD S1, with a knitted, sock-like upper placed on top of a bold and bulky gel sole, and with traction teeth on the sole and aggressive rippling on the tread. The forefoot and heel of the midsole feature new exaggerated protrusions.
The ‘Core Black’ (GW5652) comes covered in black from the upper knit to the thick midsole down below. To break up the colorway slightly, hints of white can be seen in the laces and on the heel, and brown on the three stripes branding.
