A Ma Maniere reveals the Nike Air Ship 'Game Royale'
A Ma Maniere once again joins forces with Nike and this time pulls the Air Ship from the archives. The Nike Air Ship was the predecessor of the Air Jordan 1 High and was introduced to the basketball court in the 1980s. Now, some forty years later, the model is getting a new colorway in collaboration with A Ma Maniere. The sneaker is expected to be released in 2022.
A Ma Maniere is no stranger to Nike. The two names have released several silhouettes in recent years and most recently came out with the Air Jordan 2 'Sail'. The Atlanta-based store is known for its chic designs and brings this back to Nike silhouettes time and time again. Now the store is bringing the Air Ships back to the market.
Before Michael Jordan came out with his own Air Jordan 1, he trained primarily on the Nike Air Ships. The sneaker has a retro look and comes in collaboration with A Ma Maniere in a 'Game Royale' colorway. Here, the upper turns white and the collar has been given a dark blue color.
The upper is leather and perforation holes are set on the toe. The Swoosh appears on the center panel and colors dark blue here. On the collar, Nike Air is printed in white. Also, the Nike Air logo appears on the tongue. The dark blue outsole matches nicely with the details on the sneaker. On the tongue, A Ma Maniere is stitched in cursive letters.
