The Nike Shox is experiencing a major resurgence this year – and rightfully so. Originally introduced in the early 2000s, the sneaker immediately stood out thanks to its unique cushioning technology in the sole. With the Y2K trend now taking center stage in the fashion world, the sneaker is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
The latest collaboration with Italian fashion designer Riccardo Tisci highlights the model’s versatility.
The release includes three colorways: 'Black', 'Habanero Red' e and 'White', although no official images of the latter have been revealed yet. The sneakers feature a lace upper with a floral motif and an extended ankle piece—a design choice also seen in his earlier Nike collaboration, the Air Force 1 from 2014.
The ankle piece is easily attachable and detachable via silver snap buttons on the heel. The tongue features the name "TISCI", a nod to the designer.
With recent allegations surrounding the Italian designer, it remains uncertain when (or even if) the sneakers will be released. Keep an eye on Sneakerjagers' news page for updates regarding this launch.
Riccardo Tisci is an Italian fashion designer and the owner of his eponymous brand. He served as Creative Director at Givenchy for an extended period before moving to Burberry in 2022. Tisci’s designs blend gothic romanticism, religious symbolism, and modern elegance.
For now, it is still unknown when the Nike Shox TL colorways in collaboration with Tisci will drop. However, the release is expected sometime in 2025. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates.
