The 'Rare Air' series has been one of the most talked-about moves from Jordan Brand this year. After previews of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, and Air Jordan 11 in this experimental range, there’s now a fresh look at what could’ve been a white Air Jordan 4 'Rare Air'. Except, this sample didn’t make the cut.
Following the blueprint of its black counterpart (expected to drop this summer), this unreleased Air Jordan 4 leans into multicolors on the sole unit. Mixing hits of red, grey, blue, off-white, and black. But the real switch-up is up top.
The upper is dressed in smooth white leather, paired with off-white detailing, two-tone laces, and black Nike Air branding at the heel. As with other entries in the series, this version includes removable tongue patches, revealing 'JORDAN RARE AIR' stitched underneath.
Unfortunately, this colorway won’t be hitting retail shelves and likely lost out to the black version.
Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar and news page section for the latest updates and releases.
No official release is planned. This colorway is currently considered a sample and is not expected to go into production.
