The "mule-ment" in footwear shows no signs of slowing down. The adidas Adimule was first introduced in August 2025. You can read more about that here. A silhouette that could be called the Three Stripes’ answer to the iconic Birkenstock Boston. But forget the safe, earthy suedes we’ve seen so far. For Summer 2026, adidas is leaning into its wild side with the release of the adidas Adimule WMNS 'Cow Print'.

The adidas Adimule WMNS 'Cow Print' in Detail
At its core, the Adimule is all about elevated lounging. It bridges the gap between a poolside slide and a high-fashion mule, featuring a minimalist backless design and a comfortable cork-style footbed. The Cow Print version swaps out traditional leather for a striking faux-pony hair upper.
The black-and-white spotted cow pattern gives the shoe a playful, tactile presence that perhaps feels a bit more runway than rest day. What it certainly does is blend into the current trends perfectly. The print is undoubtedly loud here, but the branding remains sophisticated. A shimmering gold Trefoil logo is stamped on the vamp.
This move follows a successful trend within the brand. We’ve seen the cow-print already work wonders on the Wales Bonner collaborations, several Sambas and Superstars, as well as the SL72. By bringing the pattern to the Adimule, adidas is proving again that "ugly-chic" footwear is here to stay.
