After recent collaborations with ASICS and audio brand AIAIAI, we now see a first collaboration with the Japanese label BAPE. On HIDDEN.NY’s secondary account, @HIDDEN.PPF, shared the first teaser image, offering a glimpse of the BAPE STA’s heel, not to be mistaken for the Air Force 1.
The initial image reveals a detailed close-up of the heel, featuring HIDDEN’s signature encircled “h” logo embossed into crisp white patent leather. Although many initially thought it was an Air Force 1 release, a sneaker HIDDEN.NY has previously used in its projects, sharp-eyed viewers quickly linked the rounded shape of the heel to BAPE.
The use of patent leather is also a signature detail of NIGO’s label. The design of the rest of the sneaker is still unknown for now. It appears we can expect a white colorway with likely green accents, as seen in nearly every release from the brand.
For the time being, it is not yet known when the collaboration will be released. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for more information on this and other upcoming releases.
