The adidas x Pokémon 8-Ball jackets take the collaboration beyond footwear. To mark Pokémon's 30th anniversary, adidas is releasing three leather bomber jackets, each dedicated to Pikachu, Charizard, or Gengar. With the adidas x Pokémon 8-Ball jackets, the partnership clearly moves into apparel too, following the sneaker line announced earlier.

Every jacket shares the same base: a collared leather bomber with an adidas Trefoil logo on the chest and a Poké Ball graphic stitched onto the elbow. A large character graphic sits on the back like a sports team crest, paired with colored leather sleeves matching each Pokémon: yellow for Pikachu, orange for Charizard, and purple for Gengar. The jackets come in unisex sizing.

Part of a bigger anniversary
A wider adidas release is expected later this month. A European release date and retail price have not been confirmed yet, so keep an eye on the release calendar for updates.
The adidas x Pokémon 8-Ball jackets aren't the only news. As we reported earlier, adidas and Pokémon are also marking their anniversary with a large sneaker collection, featuring models like the Superstar II, Samba OG, and ZX 8000 in Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo colorways. Those pairs sit in the roughly €100 to €203 range and are expected this fall, with the first releases possibly landing as early as late September.
