adidas has once again delved into the archives to dig up some cool designs! Today, we show you the 'new' retro Running styles from the 2000 collection in detail!
This season, adidas Originals is coming (back) with a 2000 Running collection. The collection consists of one-to-one remakes of some of the most iconic running silhouettes. Once again, adidas combines the era of today with that of the past.
You can now buy three different silhouettes that have been reborn, so to speak. Let's start with the adidas Ozmillen.
adidas Ozmillen
The all-new adidas Ozmillen is inspired by the Ozweego - as the name suggests. Building on the aesthetic of the 2000s, the Ozmillen combines metallic overlays, a mesh upper and adiplus cushioning.
adidas Response CL
The Response CL pays homage to the experimental spirit of the adidas archive. The design features mesh segments as well as synthetic elements. Unlike the adidas Ozmillen, you will find EVA cushioning in this trainer.
adiStar Cushion
One of the most recognisable silhouettes of the 2000s, this kick also celebrates a comeback. As futuristic now as it was then, the trainer features a breathable mesh upper, reflective details and Adiprene cushioning.
What's special about the adidas Originals 2000 Running collection?
The collection is accompanied by a special campaign that is definitely worth checking out. British photographer Ewan Spencer, who rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and contemporary visual designer Sophie Jone tell the story of adidas in a dynamic visual conversation.
