Introducing the Nike SB Blazer

Inspired by Nike’s basketball Blazer silhouette, the Nike SB Blazer is the skateboarding re-imagination of the 70’s classic.

Designed by professional skateboarder Lance Mountain the SB Blazer released in 2005 quickly took over the skating culture with its stylish minimalist design and impressive performance.

The Nike SB Blazer Design

For skateboarders who want to experience both performance and comfort, the Nike SB Blazer is a great option.

This shoe offers arch and ankle support with its soft cushioning and flexible sole, and the firm grip offers greater control and a better board feel.

Although the Nike SB Blazer has undergone design changes over the years, its durability stayed consistent thanks to the double foxing tape on the vulcanised sole. A mid-top version of the skate that provides greater ankle support and safety for skaters performing high-impact tricks was later introduced.

In 2006 the collaboration with Supreme on three colorways featured on the Nike SB Blazer put the design on the fashion map, followed by the 2017 introduction of the ‘Off White’ colorway as part of the ‘The 10’ collection designed by Virgil Abloh.
