The Nike Air 180 appears in a 'Black & Hyper Crimson' colorway
The comeback of the Nike Air 180 earlier this year was a boon for many sneaker lovers. The sneaker was designed by Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore, two of Nike's best-known designers. After the rerelease of colorways like the 'Ultramarine' and 'Concord,' a brand new colorway, the 'Hyper Crimson,' now appears.
A silhouette that is more relevant than ever before: the Nike Air 180. Introduced in 1991 as a running shoe, the silhouette was the first Nike design to use 180-degree Air. Especially for its 25th anniversary, Nike brought the silhouette back this year.
After a few OG colorways already hit the shelves, we now see the 'Black & Hyper Crimson' colorway. The sneaker features an upper made of mesh and synthetic materials. Leather overlays offer support and sturdiness.
The 'Hyper Crimson' color appears on the collar, on the tongue, and sole. The stitching on the Swoosh has also been colored red, which contrasts nicely with the black elements. On the sole and tongue are placed 180 branding.
It is not yet known when the sneaker will drop, but looking at the sneaker's color scheme, a drop around Halloween is definitely an option. Check out the official images of the Nike Air 180 'Black & Hyper Crimson' and keep an eye on the Sneaker Hunters release calendar for updates.
